The use of the PULSE AR II is very easy, you can use it without any experience or training. The electric unit is installed in a robust box of high quality. At the front are 4 operation elements and the analog display.

• MODE: The MODE adjusting knob can be switched in 4 different positions:
• OFF: The equipment is switched off
• BATT.: Battery control – the condition of the rechargable battery is indicated by pointer deflection on the announcement
• MET.: In the all metal search mode all metals will be indicated, without metal discrimination. The metals are examined not for their conductivity, but indicated without discrimination acoustically and optically. This has the advantage that you can detect with highest sensitivity, and at the same time a depths measurement happens, which is represented by the pointer deflection. As smaller the pointer deflection, as more deeply lies the metal. In addition the form and the size of the located object can be determined by pointer deflection and clay/tone
• DISC: In this search mode the frequency discriminator is used thus an optical and acoustic metal discrimination takes place. The different metals are signaled by different tones and conductivity values.
• VOLUME:Volume control
• FREQ:Frequency automatic controller for adjustment a sturdy swelling clay/tone
• RESET:Automatic null adjustment by push the button. Through operate the RESET key any soil change adjusts automatically.

We offer for the PULSE AR II different waterproof search coils, which can be cable-connected easily without any adjustment on the electric unit.

 
In the case of use of the different search probes (25 or 45 cm search-coil) also small and medium sized objects can be located. So that the optimal search depth is reached, the suitable search coil should be selected depending upon object size.
