Με την τεχνολογία που διαθέτει μπορεί να κάνει μετρήσεις με εξαιρετική ανάλυση μέχρι βάθος 25 μέτρων . Η εικόνες και τα βίντεο προβάλλονται στα ειδικά γυαλιά που φοράμε. Τα γυαλιά αυτά είναι καλά και για έρευνα την νύχτα και για προστασία την ημέρα από τις ακτίνες του ηλίου.
Η χρήση είναι απλή και μπορεί να γίνει χωρίς την χρήση φορητού ηλεκτρονικού υπολογιστή. Οι μετρήσεις εμφανίζονται άμεσα και έγχρωμες.
Όλες οι μετρήσεις αποθηκεύονται στην εσωτερική μνήμη της συσκευής 256ΜΒ και μπορούν να μεταφερθούν σε κανονικό ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή για αξιολόγηση και εκτίμηση του βάθους, του μεγέθους και της θέσεως των στόχων με το επαγγελματικό πρόγραμμα Visualizer 3D.
Σε κάθε γραφική αναπαράσταση η ημερομηνία και η ώρα μπορούν αυτόματα να προσαρμοστούν στην ζώνη ώρας που ανήκει η περιοχή εντοπισμού.
Διαθέτει ενσωματωμένο δέκτη GPS. Έτσι γνωρίζουμε την ακριβή τοποθεσία εντοπισμού κάποιου αντικειμένου. Μπορούμε να ξαναπάμε στην ακριβή τοποθεσία ανά πάσα στιγμή με καθοδήγηση από το GPS.

Διαθέτει τις εξής λειτουργίες έρευνας:

• Μαγνητόμετρο : Με την λειτουργία αυτήν μπορούμε να κάνουμε έρευνα χρησιμοποιώντας τον μαγνητικό πεδίο της γης. Η λειτουργία αυτή είναι πολύ καλή για εντοπισμό μικρών αντικειμένων που βρίσκονται κοντά στην επιφάνεια. Το μέγιστο βάθος εντοπισμού σε αυτήν την λειτουργία είναι περίπου τα 2 μέτρα.
• Σκανάρισμα εδάφους : Στην λειτουργία αυτήν σκανάρουμε το έδαφος με γραφική εκτίμηση. Σε αυτήν την λειτουργία το μηχάνημα δημιουργεί τρισδιάστατη εικόνα του υπεδάφους. Έχουμε ανίχνευση μεταλλικών αντικειμένων και κενών μέχρι 25 μέτρα βάθος όπως επίσης και προσδιορισμό του βάθους και της θέσεως των αντικειμένων.
• Διαχωρισμός : Μπορούμε να διαχωρίσουμε σιδηρούχα, μη-σιδηρούχα και κενά. Με χρήση του Super Sensor υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να φτάσουμε τα 25 μέτρα βάθος.
• Εντοπισμός μετάλλων : Με την λειτουργία αυτήν μπορούμε να βρούμε και τον τύπο του μετάλλου που έχουμε εντοπίσει. Ανήκει στα έξτρα αξεσουάρ του eXp 5000. Ο διαχωρισμός των μετάλλων ανάμεσα σε σίδερο, χρυσό, μπρούντζο, ασήμι και αλουμίνιο είναι δυνατός μέχρι βάθους δύο μέτρων.

OKM eXp 5000 Ground Scanner 3D Metal Detector

The metal detector gold OKM eXp 5000 is a measuring instrument of newest technology and has been developed in particular for professional use. Through the supplied video eyeglasses buried objects like boxes, pipes, metals but also cavities and grave chambers under the surface becomes visible immediately.

 
Furthermore the video eyeglasses are optimised for the search during the night and also protects against perturbing sunlight at day. Compact equipment and easy handling The Earth Imager Earth Imagers are high technology metal detectors with graphical representation of the searched underground.

Earth Imager eXp 5000 includes an easily removable control unit which makes it easier to use in different areas. With its compact equipment the device is also easy to handle in terrains which are difficult to access. Fast processing of measured data The device allows measurements in brilliant resolutions. All recorded data is processed immediately through the integrated pc-module and becomes visible through the video eyeglasses. The size of any measurement is almost indefinite and only limited by the storage capacity of 256 MB.

All collected measured data can be transferred afterwards to a personal computer to analyse the results professionally in the software program Visualizer 3D. Besides the measuring values additional information like the date and time, the used antenna, the GPS – Global Positioning System GPS is a satellite based navigation system consisting of 24 satellites which permanently transmit the position and time. By calculating the travel time of the signals GPS receiver determine the position and velocity.

In combination with a metal detector the position of the current search field can be stored to be used for navigation at a later time. GPS coordinates (if GPS has been activated) and the current measurement settings will be stored in every graphical representation automatically. Date and time settings can be adapted individually to the actual time zone. Individual operating modes The geophysical instrument and metal detector eXp 5000 supports different operating modes which can be used for specific underground investigations.

According to your personal requirements one of the following operating modes comes into operation:

Magnetometer A magnetometer is a scientific instrument used to measure the strength and/or direction of the magnetic field and their disturbances. So it is possible to locate buried targets. Magnetometers are used in geophysical surveys to find deposits of iron because they can measure the magnetic field variations caused by the deposits. Magnetometers are also used to detect archaeological sites, shipwrecks and other buried or submerged objects. Magnetic anomaly detectors detect submarines for military purposes. The Magnetometer mode of FS Future Series devices mostly is used to locate ferrous objects which are located near to the surface of the ground. This function is very usefull to eliminate small trash from the surface and in fact prepare the scan area for a professional measurement in the Ground Scan mode. Ground Scan

Ground Scan is the operating mode where the searcher is able to receive a 3d image of the underground by scanning an area. The searcher has to walk over the ground with an antenna to scan an area. So it is possible to visualize the underground and its anomalies. In the mode Ground Scan it is also possible to measure the position, depth and size of underground objects or voids.
