THESSALY- The Gold of “manager”. Legend or reality?

In the region of Thessaly during the civil war the rebel “manager” live and act .
Near the mountain of Kissavos that period there was a cave near a bowl.
It had large capacity, able to hide an entire army. At 1941-47 it was used as hideout
during the war. After 1947 the “manager” exploded the entry of the cave.
The “manager” that operated in the region of Larisa and in the wider area, Tirnavos,
Platikampos, Agia, Makrixori, Ampelonas, Ampelakia, Melivia, Lakeria, after the
incidents and due to the circumstances went in Serbia and after in Czechoslovakia.
After a few years he made great efforts to return in Greece. But finally he did not manage
to come back and died in 1978 in this grief. Before die he told his children that he had
unloaded in this cave nine mules laden with two cases each (in total 18 cases) with written
on: danger to die with a skull. Inside they had golden pounds sterling. Total hide of gold 144.000 coins. Gold detector

area, as described by him, but could not find the place. After desperate efforts they
could not find the cave. Even today the descendants of this man are searching out for these boxes.
